Oak Bluffs Annual Harbor Festival
From noon to 5 p.m., the annual Oak Bluffs Harborfest presents many local arts, crafts, food and music as well as the Midsummer Faerie Festival. Later, the Solstice Festival takes over Circuit Avenue from 5 to 11 p.m. with a fireworks display brightening the sky around 9 pm.

Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank Golf Classic
Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank Golf Classic benefits the Vineyard Nursing Association and is held at the Vineyard Golf Club in Edgartown. The tournament features a putting contest, hole-in-one prize, raffles, mulligans and a 50/50 drawing. The fee is $200 until May 15 and $200 until the day of the event. Cost includes a light breakfast, cart and caddie fees, 18 holes of golf, and lunch. Marine Discovery Tour
Explore the Vineyard Sound on a Coast Guard licensed vessel with Captain John and a Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary naturalist. They will tow a plankton net, use a scallop drag, and check lobster and fish traps for crabs, fish, and shellfish that live in the water surrounding the island. Tour starts at 5:30 p.m. on the Oak Bluffs Harbor and is offered every Tuesday until August 28th. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Pre-registration is required.
